“My experience as an Administrative Resident was challenging, educational, and gratifying. The varying degree of projects that I worked on allowed me to gain experiences in numerous health administration fields, and afforded me a chance to extend my competencies beyond any level I had anticipated. Moreover, my work as a Resident had meaningful impact to the organization, and I collaborated with C-Suite executives and other top ranking administrators on a daily basis. Ed Jimenez is an amazing preceptor, and I was fortunate to have him guide me through the process of maximizing my strengths, improving my weaknesses, and identifying my career focus. The UF Health Shands Administrative Residency is truly a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, and I wouldn’t be where I am today without it.”
